SUPPORT OUR PROGRAM
The La Paz Music Program depends on the Music Boosters for funds, field trips, and more. The music program offers students an exceptional musical experience that goes far beyond what basic school funding alone can provide. La Paz Music Boosters relies on the generous support of our music families and community to help fund the resources, instruction, experiences, and opportunities that make our program so robust.
Each year, the Boosters works with our music director to determine the anticipated needs of the program and the amount expected to be raised through fundraising and other sources. Based on those needs, we request a program donation of $300 per student participating in Intermediate Band, Advanced Band, or Orchestra, and $70 per student participating in Chorus.
What Your Donation Supports
Program donations help the Boosters provide funding for many of the thingsthat enrich our students' music education and allow the program to thrive, including:
• Specialized coaches and clinicians
• Instruments, equipment, maintenance, and repairs
• Sheet music and musical compositions
• Festival, competition, and performance expenses
• Transportation
• Concert and event expenses
• Student hospitality and meals for designated events
• Awards and recognition
• Other educational resources and program needs throughout the year
These opportunities would not be possible at the same level without the support of our music families. Broad participation in program donations helps us provide these experiences for all students while keeping the requested donation as affordable as possible.
2026–2027 Requested Program Donations
Intermediate Band — $300
Advanced Band — $300
Orchestra — $300
Chorus — $70
Students participating in more than one instrumental band/orchestra ensemble are asked to make only one $300 program donation. [students enrolled in both Chorus and an instrumental ensemble are asked to make both.]
Program donations are voluntary, and no student will be excluded from participation in the La Paz music program because their family is unable to contribute the requested amount. Families are welcome to donate any amount that is comfortable for them.
Certain trips and activities are not included in the requested program donation. Costs for these events will be determined as plans and logistics are finalized and will apply only to students participating in that event.
Donations above the requested amount are always greatly appreciated. Contributions from extended family members, friends, alumni, local businesses, and community supporters are also welcome and directly support the La Paz music program.

students with experiences they will remember long after they leave intermediate school.
La Paz Music Boosters is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Regardless of what program your student participates in, there are costs that must be covered. The Boosters do everything possible to keep costs at a minimum and reduce your out-of-pocket expenses. All collected funds go towards running the La Paz Music Program

How to set up a Zelle payment plan for free:
Login as per usual to your Zelle account and ensure you have added La Paz Music Boosters as a payee with the email address: musicboosterslapaz@gmail.com
Once that is set, you can go in your Zelle just like you normally would to make a payment and select La Paz Music Boosters as the payee and create the payment plan by designating the amount and frequency of your payments. In the picture example below there is a plan for monthly payments of $60 until the total amount of $300. Choose your start date and Zelle will automatically send the amount every month consistently without any fees.
